An amazing server with a great community you will not find anywhere else.
Master builders Johan and Zeno are here to awe you with their awesomeness and with a constantly growing community. factions grow and develop. others die. Mercenaries can be found to fulfill your needs for the right sum of course.
Large powers build their fleets and there is ample opportunity for all to grow and develop. From my months on this server I have come to appreciate the intricate social 'atmosphere' in this particular galaxy.
Join now and be part of the action. Join the navies, join the shipyards, join the armies join the crusades. Its up to you. Be yourself. Be what you are and let your imagination fly! or perhaps i should say jump or warp ;)
Its all here for you. A simple matter of white-listing and of course showing your AMAZING potential for writing more than a few lines of crap which you copied from Wikipedia "Luke sky walker style" but actually creating your own character. Come on! Join us now! One of the greatest servers i have ever been on. A truly inspirational server to me and everyone here at Ragnarok.
We await you at Ragnarok!
I like to try this one, but don't know if it's worth risking my precious free time. I have looked over the server rules and can see much thought was put into organizing it. And much care and attention are in evidence.
But I wonder at the rule against creating a faction without having it vetted by a commitee. The game mechanics are such that it would normally favor greifers and popularity contests. The Faction-block and Faction-Home features are the only real built-in checks against those game-killing problems.
The prohibition against having my own faction with which to protect my work between sessions causes me to want to avoid spending my precious free time checking out this other-wise impressive looking server.
I understand your concern. The roleplay nature of the server as well as certain administrative concerns forced us to take this route early in the life of the server. There is no committee involved however, anyone may freely start a faction. They must simply find two other members and choose an alignment or the faction is deleted come Monday purge. (Repeating the process is allowable but frowned on.
Besides this there are notable and trustworthy shipyard factions, and many other factions where your builds would be protected.
I would prefer that schema put in something like a biometric lock deactivated only when overheating, but that's outside of the scope of my control, so I do what I have to.
